Which documents help verify a Gold Card proposal?

THE DIRECT ANSWER

Bring the original proposal, its date, any amendments and the official pages it cites. Keep promised benefits and payment instructions visible.

Preserve the comparison trail

Prepare a table with the claim, its source and the current official wording or unresolved issue. This review file helps distinguish a superseded announcement from an unsupported assurance. It is separate from the identity and financial documents that an eventual immigration application may require.

Keep two files rather than one. The first holds the proposal and everything about it: the version you received, its date, the pages it cites, any later amendment, and the correspondence in which claims were made. The second holds the applicant’s own records, which will be needed for any immigration process regardless of route — identity and civil documents, immigration and travel history, and evidence of the lawful origin of the funds involved.

The second file has enduring value; the first exists to hold an adviser to what they said. Where a claim was made verbally, write it down and send it back for confirmation, since an assurance nobody will repeat in writing is generally an assurance worth discounting. Request current official documentation from the programme’s own materials rather than accepting a screenshot, which may be edited, outdated or taken from a different page.
